Michael Whitbeck represented Hugo High School, the city of Hugo, and Choctaw County as a delegate for the 2026 86th semi-quincentennial American Legion Oklahoma Boys State. 

As a delegate at Oklahoma Boys State, Michael served as a county Deputy and went on to sit in the House of Representatives. He learned how to be a proactive leader and how to be a responsible member of our republic to ensure future success in our great nation.
